Vishal Mungra is a seasoned product management & product marketing professional with 15+ years of experience in the water, energy, and tech sectors. His expertise in AMR and AMI technologies across a wide array of smart metering applications is combined with a deep understanding of market and customer challenges. Passionate about contributing to the digital transformation of the utility sector, Vishal has a proven track record in developing both off-theshelf and bespoke products to that end.

Vishal currently leads Itron’s water and gas product lines globally with an annual worldwide sales footprint in excess of $300M. His current responsibilities span P&L accountability (top line & bottom line), market selection and participation, investment allocations, roadmaps and portfolio management. Since starting his career in the utility industry, he has been involved in the deployment of over 30Mu smart meters across electricity, gas & water.
