Based on the Atmel SAMD21 and a Murata CMWX1ZZABZ LoRa® module, the MKR WAN 1310 comes complete with a Secure element, battery charger and 2 MByte Flash for local data logging and OTA. The improved micropower architecture drastically reduces MKR WAN 1310’s power consumption down to 104uA enabling very long battery life; the board can be operated via USB or via an external battery.
MKR WAN 1310’s built-in secure element adds credentials and certificates storage space that ensure highest security standards in data transmission.
A complete range of Arduino MKR Carrier Boards and Shields are available to complement the MKR WAN 1310 board, along with the Arduino Pro Gateway and Arduino IoT Cloud, providing a complete platform for designing and prototyping IoT devices with LoRa connectivity, making it the perfect platform for wide area, low power IoT applications.
