The Arduino Pro Gateway is available for use in the EU (868 MHz) and enables multiple channel management. By supporting advanced features like Listen Before Talk (LBT)  it allows users to transmit at higher power on available channels, achieving longer ranges than conventional LoRa® gateways.  The gateway can handle up to 8 LoRa® Channels at a time in the 868MHz ISM band allowing it to receive up to 8 LoRa® packets simultaneously making it the ideal device to use in high-density LoRa WAN applications.


Access to the Arduino IoT Cloud makes installation, provisioning and remote management of the gateway incredibly simple through the popular Arduino Create cloud platform. Advanced users have the option to access Arduino Cloud via API to implement custom applications or the flexibility of connecting to other LoRaWAN networks.


The gateway features the advanced Embit EMB-LR1301-mPCIe module and a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ SBC housed in a rugged aluminium enclosure. The gateway comes pre-installed with an optimized packet forwarder provided by A2A Smart City (part of the A2A Group) who also provide the carrier-grade Network Server (Patavina Netsuite) for LoRaWAN, which runs on the Arduino Cloud. 


When combined with the Arduino MKR WAN 1310 IoT nodes, the Arduino Pro Gateway is the ideal solution for a wide range of applications, like Smart Agriculture, Smart Cities and Building Automation – and many other remote monitoring applications requiring long-range, low-power wireless connectivity.
