The importance of light can be captured in four words. Without light, no visibility. Without light, people cannot live. How else could we work, live, communicate and move around safely?
As a Dutch manufacturer of emergency lighting, we learned how to use light as efficiently as possible for safety. In response to market demands, we broadened our scope towards intelligent lighting solutions for residential construction. Stairwell and gallery luminaires with smart light and movement sensors, with emergency lighting if required.
HBI offers solutions that serve people and the environment. Solutions where safety and comfort go hand in hand with energy saving and sustainability. Made possible by intelligent technology and high-quality, durable materials in an all-encompassing design.
The latest developments focus on wireless management and unburdening building owners. As the only manufacturer worldwide, the wireless technology in the HBI emergency luminaires is LoRaWAN certified! HBI escape route lighting, escape route indicators but also other building-related LoRa devices such as for example consumption meters or central heating boilers, can be centrally managed and monitored via Sqippa, an open platform.
HBI participates in the Sqippa community. Here, building owners, manufacturers and service providers work together to create a generic online and wireless platform that is scalable, secure and future-proof.
