Authorized Test Labs
LoRaWAN® Certification Approach
The LoRa Alliance® approach to device certification is to ensure that the process is streamlined and cost efficient for the device manufacturers, while assuring LoRaWAN CertifiedCM devices meet the stringent requirements set forth in the published LoRaWAN standards.
While understanding cost containment is a high priority for our members, unlike most industry certification programs, the LoRa Alliance does not charge members any fees to issue the LoRaWAN Certification Certificates to the device manufacturer or for certified devices to be promoted in the LoRaWAN Product Showcase. These services are additional benefits to membership in the LoRa Alliance.
The only cost of obtaining LoRaWAN Certification is the fee paid to the Authorized Test Lab (ATL) for either full Certification testing or to obtain Certification by Similarity. The LoRa Alliance has selected well qualified and equipped ATLs to offer LoRaWAN Certification with convenient worldwide locations, making testing services as near as possible to manufacturers in any region.
