Acklio received the 2021 Innovation Award for pioneering compression technology called “Static Context Header Compression” (or SCHC) that brings the support of Internet Protocols over LoRaWAN. SCHC was published as a standard in 2020 by the IETF. In April 2021, it was standardized for use over LoRaWAN by a new dedicated standard RFC 9011.
