Hussein Al HAJ Hassan

Acklio

Hussein Al Haj Hassan received his Ph.D. degree in networking from IMT Atlantique (Rennes, France) in 2015. In 2016, he joined the faculty of engineering at the American University of Science and Technology (Beirut, Lebanon) as an assistant professor. He then joined Acklio in 2021 as a standardization & presales engineer and has been an active member of both the LoRa Alliance and DLMS UA since then. He made significant contributions to many standardization and certification activities, which were recognized by the LoRa Alliance through the prestigious LoRa Alliance Team Award. As a researcher, Hussein has published more than 30 international papers. His research interests include green networking, network protocols, IoT, LPWAN, energy efficiency and machine learning.
