Pete has been driving product disruption and ecosystem partnerships in the intelligent edge, connectivity and services arena for years in Silicon Valley and at Microsoft in Redmond, WA for the past 17 years. He holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Boston University and numerous patents in telecom, mobility and imaging.
He coined the term and the concept of the “Always Connected PC” and helped drive Microsoft’s intelligent edge strategy and investments to enable Windows compute devices to always be connected to the cloud.
He also hosted the Microsoft podcast, The IoT Unicorn, and is a regular speaker on industry panels and podcasts.
Now, he drives Microsoft’s efforts for the intersection of Connectivity, Edge and AI, and runs the Hardware/Connectivity team in the Azure Light Edge Group, which engages in strategic product building relationships with Microsoft’s key semiconductor, device builder and connectivity and telecom partnerships.
