Global LoRaWAN Networks Director

Rémi joined Semtech in 2017 to take the role of fostering LoRaWAN Network development globally. Rémi enables LoRaWAN operator footprint expansion across geographies while supporting business increase. For the LoRa Alliance, Remi drives operator-focused topics, as Network Operator Forum co-chair and sponsor for Wireless Broadband Alliance Liaison. He achieved strategic missions for the LoRa Alliance : demonstrated active WBA Liaison (white paper work involving 25 companies of both Alliances), set-up the LoRa Alliance coverage map, successfully drove the 5G Task Force delivering a 5G marketing message, as well as participating to the set-up and scale of the Network Operator Forum (84 members today). Rémi has been setting-up and growing the LoRa Alliance network reporting feeding most of the LoRa Alliance footprint KPI’s. Rémi, also convinced several new members to join the Alliance.

Remi has been taking for more than 20 years, management and executive positions in Cellular and Fixed Operators as well as IoT and software companies (member of the board and Senior Leadership Team positions for 15+ years).

Remi received an engineering degree from Telecom Paris Tech and a master degree of computer science from Paris Orsay University as well as Business leadership communication grade from Insead.

Finally, Remi is the sponsor for Wireless Broadband Alliance Liaison.
