Scott Sigel

Scott Sigel is the Chief Operating Officer of the Helium Foundation, a non-profit organization serving as the governance and community steward for the Helium Network. Scott works closely with Network stakeholders worldwide and is inspired daily by the social and economic benefits of community-built infrastructure. The Helium community is closing the digital divide by building wireless coverage for mobile and IoT devices. The IoT Network enables a broader range of connected applications to manage physical assets and resources for various public and private organizations. Prior to Helium, Scott joined the blockchain community, working with multiple blockchain-native projects. Before that, he served as a Senior Vice President with Silicon Valley Bank, supporting early-stage founders, and grew several venture-backed companies from inception, including two through successful acquisitions.
