Speaker Bio

Wienke Giezeman is the co-founder of The Things Network. He is on a mission to provide the entire world with a free and open internet of things data network.

He managed to provide the city of Amsterdam with coverage in 6 weeks, and he is now building a global IoT data network. Wienke has been fighting for a free and open internet since he founded Startups for Net Neutrality. Together with a group of people, he let the EU Parliament know how important net neutrality is for starting online businesses.
