At Enlit we are on a journey to #Connect industries, #Inspire action and help Europe #Evolve into one decarbonised and digitalised energy system for the energy transition. Along this journey, we have the privilege to meet extraordinary people.
People making their mark on the energy transition.
And although the road of the energy transition is a bumpy one, filled with challenges, uncertainties, hope and opportunities, one thing is crystal clear: Across borders and across sectors: our purpose – to deliver clean, affordable and reliable energy for all – is what connects us.
The next stop on our journey to #Connect, #Inspire and #Evolve with you is on 28-30 November 2023, in Paris. In-person. Because nothing beats meeting face-to-face.
Netvox: Energy Meter for LoRaWAN, Smart Circuit Breaker for LoRaWAN, and LoRaWAN Sensors Powered by Renewable Energy
Semtech: New LoRaWAN relay for lighter smart meter deployment (gas/water)
Semtech’s demo is co-hosted by Actility and includes the Relay feature recently introduced into the LoRaWAN protocol. It will show the interoperability between different commercial relays and the low-power operation of the implementation, enabling battery-powered relay to last several years.
OrbiWise: LoRaWAN public networks for the Digital Transformation through deployment of Smart Water and Smart Gas Projects
OrbiWise has supported the deployment of a few LoRaWAN® public networks featuring Smart Water and Smart Gas Metering in different European countries to digitize utilities building advanced, affordable, and scalable end-to-end solutions for the utility market. OrbiWise is proud to showcase these projects at ENLIT 2023. The dimensions of these networks (in excess of several thousand or tens of thousands of meters) show the capability of large and scalable deployments covering both high- density areas and extended regions.
Everynet: LoRaWAN: Empowering the Digital Transformation of Utilities
Everynet will bring together key ecosystem partners and end users to present live deployments of utility metering/management solutions. These presentations will demonstrate the scalability and low costs associated with these game changing LoRaWAN solutions.
Actility: Actility’s ThingPark IoT Platform Enabling the Future of Smart Utilities with LoRaWAN Technology
Utility companies are looking for ways to improve the management of their energy and water delivery systems, and smart grids and smart meters are being driven by the Internet of Things (IoT) to enable this. IoT-based smart utility services enable the monitoring and proactive management of energy, gas and water use to achieve waste reduction, conservation and sustainability goals. The key feature of these solutions is connectivity. LoRaWAN open standard technology is a leader for smart meter applications, providing scalable and cost-effective solutions that reduce utility waste. Actility’s ThingPark IoT connectivity platform is well positioned to be a leader in this market by managing both private and public networks and providing a platform for IoT sensors and applications.
Actility’s IoT network infrastructure provides points of interoperability between systems, simplifying integration and reducing costs, so that utilities and cities can focus on creating business value through improved services and better customer experiences.
The IoT is also helping to automate water management through smart water metering solutions, which enable utilities, cities, buildings and industrial sites to improve the performance of their water distribution systems, reduce investment and operating costs, and implement automated monitoring and leakage detection. Actility’s IoT platform, based on the LoRaWAN technology, is used for large-scale smart metering projects.
The IoT is also helping to automate gas management with accurate, easily installed solutions for gas and electricity utility management. It is redefining the power grid by offering cost-effective metering solutions and enabling the creation of smart grids through digital communication technology, allowing utilities to influence demand and reduce costs. Actility’s IoT platform enables reliable smart grid solutions in large areas, using LoRaWAN capabilities.
ELSYS: Reduce energy costs with wireless temperature sensors
Energy saving is a hot topic, and our sensors with LoRaWAN are ideal for such a use case!
Furthermore, we also have LoRaWAN temperature sensors powered by an indoor solar cell, which means no maintenance with changing batteries, and battery-free is good for the environment.
