Actility – Connectivity solutions for utilities, cities, and energy management enabled by LoRaWAN
Actility will showcase its private LoRaWAN connectivity solutions that enable supply and energy management of industrial facilities – ThingPark IoT platform, which allows to deploy a unified, scalable, multipurpose IoT network infrastructure for utilities and cities, providing well-defined points of interoperability between systems, and greatly simplifying and reducing integration costs and difficulties. Actility will show its latest IoT solutions and their real-life implementations of:
Acklio – Ensure successful Smart Metering Deployments with Acklio’s software solutions
Acklio is an award-winning software vendor, leader in the SCHC protocol compression technology for wireless networks. It ensures efficient, secure and interoperable applications based on the IP stack, DLMS, Modbus, LWM2M or others. Our software is compatible with all major providers on the market: DLMS Stacks, Head-End Systems, Communication Modules and LPWAN Networks. Our solutions are a regulatory requirement for several deployments (e,g, DLMS over LoRaWAN), and ensure efficiency gains in the order of 35%-70%, lowering your TCO by up to 40%.
comtac AG – Monitoring of transformer stations in electricity medium voltage distribution networks via LoRaWAN
Many transformer stations are operated without remote monitoring. Today, however, the demands on reliability & supply security have increased and the loads on the supply infrastructure from PV systems and eMobile charging stations changed significantly. In the event of a short circuit in the distribution network, short-circuit indicators had to be read out on site in several stations in order to localise the fault, which was time-consuming. When retrofitting with Cluey KM, short-circuit messages are transmitted directly via LoRaWAN® which reduces the downtime in the event of a short-circuit until the power supply is restored from hours to minutes. Also further status signals e.g. for object protection – motion detector, door contact, flooding alarms can be acquired & transmitted by Cluey. By a power failure, the internal battery buffer ensures the transmission of short-circuit & status messages.
Connexin – End-to-end AMI smart water metering with LoRaWAN
A full end-to-end AMI solution for smart water metering provided to Severn Trent Water as part of the first large-scale IoT water meter network in the UK. Showcasing the full end-to end solution from the smart meter to LoRaWAN network and then on to the data management system, Connexin are demonstrating how, alongside partners Itron and The Things Industries, LoRaWAN is suitable for AMI deployments in the UK. With an initial 157,000 water meter end points with the scalability to move towards 3-million meter connections by 2040, you’ll get to see how Connexin are providing solutions for large scale water metering and other use cases for water utilities.
Digita Oy – Water Meter and Data Management enabled by LoRaWAN & Power Line Infrastructure Condition Monitoring Solution enabled by LoRaWAN
We’ll present water meter vendor agnostic cloud service via LoRaWAN network and smart meter management, analytics and reporting.
We’ll present Digita’s new custom designed IoT Position Sensor (by Digital Matter) and back-end cloud service. Sensor monitors power lines and poles, other utilities to alert operators of dangerous snow and ice loads and storms and other damages to infrastructure.
Everynet – The power of LoRaWAN for Massive IoT in the utility industry
Everynet, together with its Ecosystem Partners, creates the most affordable and scalable end-to-end solution for the utility market. This year, Everynet will be at Enlit with ecosystem partners such as Acklio, Tektelic, Lysir, Friendcom, Cavagna, and Urbana Solutions. Together we will present the best solutions in LoRaWAN technology regarding metering and monitoring of the utility grid.
Orbiwise – LoRaWAN public networks for deployment of Smart Water and Gas Metering
OrbiWise has supported the deployment of 2 public networks featuring Smart Water and Smart Gas Metering in 2 European countries to build affordable and scalable end-to-end solutions for the utility market. OrbiWise is proud to showcase both projects at ENLIT.
Vertical M2M – SmartWater everywhere, from subscriber to network: saving energy and water
Water is a precious resource for everyone, saving water is therefore a key concern for water utilities, residential customers and territories, whether we talk about drinking or not drinking water. Relying on our SmartWater solutions designed with CommonSense IoT Platform®, LoRAWAN technology and a set of chosen LoRAWAN devices (valves, meters and sensors), we will showcase a global demo application with 5 different dashboards:
Fully customizable and supporting a wide range of sensors and meters, this solution can help water utilities and territories reach their sustainability goals, lower water losses and improve energy (electricity) consumption over their networks.
