LoRa Alliance™ Names SenRa CEO & Founder Ali Hosseini Marketing Committee Co-Chair
Fremont, CA–December 18, 2018 –The LoRa Alliance™, the global association of companies backing the open LoRaWAN™ protocol for the Internet of Things (IoT) low-power wide-area networks (LPWANs), today announced that Ali Hosseini, CEO and Founder of member company SenRa, has been appointed Co-Chair of the Marketing Committee. He joins current Co-Chair Charles Paumelle of Microshare and replaces departing Co-Chair, Multitech’s Sara Brown.

As Co-Chair, Hosseini will join Paumelle and Marketing Director Emma Pearce to help plan and execute the LoRa Alliance’s marketing strategy and run the Committee meetings. Additionally, his expertise will be leveraged as a LoRaWAN Ambassador speaking on behalf of the LoRa Alliance at events as well as to media and industry analysts.

Hosseini is the Founder and CEO of SenRa, a PAN India LoRaWAN network operator. He comes with extensive experience in the areas of information technology, wireless, mobile, and software development industries. He has worked with Fortune 500 organizations in his career spanning multiple industries and verticals focusing on product development, management and sales and has run several successful businesses during his professional career. Hosseini believes in the transformative impact that technology can bring in to a country as vast and diverse as India and is taking lead in developing the ecosystem for deploying them. As a contributing member of the LoRa Alliance since August 2016 and an IoT enthusiast, he strives to leverage innovative wireless technologies and solutions to improve quality of life and provide valuable insight in low-power wide-area network technologies.
