NEON Contact Sensor – Industrial IoT IECEx / ATEX Device

Knowing the position of assets in an industrial environment or having certainty about the correct placement of assets, provides valuable insights. Based on magnetic field detection, the asset’s position information is provided by the NEON Contact Sensor and made remotely available within the application platform in near-real-time. These wireless LoRaWAN devices, all in TWTG's trusted Ex certified NEON form factor, contribute to increased efficiency and reliability of operational processes.

Description

Designed for industry from the very beginning, TWTG’s NEON product line is built to not only operate in industrial sites where explosive gasses are being handled but also all other elements that a sensor may be exposed to in the course of its lifetime (up to 10 years). It has been tested and certified to work in conditions from -40° to 80° Celsius without hampering performance. The devices are designed and engineered in such a way that they can be safely and securely deployed in a wireless network and are remotely configurable, ensuring not only longevity but also reliability within an operation.

NEON Contact Sensor works with a number of use cases, such as safety showers, entry gates / doors, fire extinguishers, etc. and is utilizing various different mounting options in one product.
