The LoRa Alliance is exhibiting at Smart City Expo World Congress 2024!
The LoRa Alliance stand is in Hall 3, Stand B155 near the main Congress stage.
The LoRa Alliance will showcase LoRaWAN deployments and use cases for smart cities during SCEWC. Members Browan Communications, Tata Communications, iotech, and Miromico are some of the members showcasing their LoRaWAN enabled solutions and devices for smart cities in the Alliance stand.
Browan Communicationswill be showcasing their Smart Warehouse Safety Solution: Our Smart Collision Prevention System utilizes state-of-the-art technology to monitor the movements of both warehouse personnel and forklifts. Using a combination of sensors and intelligent algorithms, the system continuously analyzes the proximity between individuals and equipment. When potential collision risks are detected, the system issues timely alerts to warn both personnel and forklift operators, allowing them to take immediate corrective action to avoid accidents
Miromico will be showcasing their Battery-less Indoor Room Monitor: miro Insight Lux is a battery-less Indoor Room Monitor for Temperature, Humidity, and CO2. The additional magnetic sensor detects door & window opening. Insight Lux is based on Dracula’s OPV Technology, which ensures energy harvesting even in low-light indoor conditions, allowing the device to function in complete darkness for weeks via stored energy, and providing consistent and reliable monitoring. The Insight Lux comes in a proof-of-concept kit that provides data visualisation and device configuration for evaluation purposes right out of the box.
iotech, as an IoT licensed operator in Saudi Arabia, provides seamless network connectivity and end-to-end solutions, including data hosting and management on our platforms and Sovereign Cloud. At the Smart City Expo, we’ll showcase our cutting-edge technologies that drive smart city innovations, enhancing urban living through secure, efficient, and scalable IoT solutions. Join us to explore the future of smart cities!
Tata Communications will be showcasing their Smart City Solutions for Smart lighting • Smart parking • Smart utilities (Gas & water) • Smart Surveillance (VA – ANPR, speed violation) • Unified IOT platform for smart cities:
Smart lighting Solution : The smart light solution consists of a hybrid solution targeted to municipal authorities to save energy & operational expenses while reducing their overall carbon footprint. The solution consists of modular components to smartify individual lights while another for low wattages lights using feeder-based automation. Demo will focus on individual lighting control (hardware – ILM controllers, gateway) & multi language application and mobile app for operations. Prerequisite: Pole mounted of light with SLC / ILM needed at event site
Smart parking: Smart parking solution is available for both ground level parting and for multiple level parting operators. The system offers end-to-end solution on LoRaWAN with an end-user application available for citizens for finding and booking parking spaces available across cities and another application for city authorities to monitor their parking spaces. The applications are available in multiple languages to meet localised requirements of authorities. Demo will consist of smart car ground mounted sensor hardware , lorawan gateway & application on cloud.
Smart utilities (Gas & water) – Smart cities have large spread and hence collecting usage data for water, piled gas becomes a huge task for city unitalities . TCL have been working with city gas / water distribution companies to address this solution with its end2end offering and will demonstrate it using its application at event. No live setup only application on cloud will be demonstrated.
Smart Surveillance (VA – ANPR, speed violation etc)- Smart city has many usecases for safety of citizens which required camera-based surveillance image processing at ICCC. TCL offers a integrated solution for Video analytics that can assist authorities in maintaining law & order and also keep tab on violators. Eg ANPR, Traffic speed violation, garbage & Littering etc. Demo can be shown for few of these with camera installed on pole at event connected with VA server using 5 mpbs or better connectivity
Unified IOT platform for smart cities: We have build a unified common smart platform to manage various types of IOT devices being used in smart cities or smart factories. The common platform cut across all as horizontal and onboard multiple use cases of smart cities and brings in efficiencies when it come to targeted focused approach to address smart cities of future.
The LCTT allows full testing and regression testing of your device at your location, saving time and money by allowing you to debug and finalize your designs prior to starting the formal certification process with an Authorized Test Lab. The LCTT is the most comprehensive test tool for LoRaWAN end nodes available.
Each member company receives one free LCTT license.
LoRaWAN Certification
LoRaWAN certification is crucial as it ensures that your device complies with industry standards, providing customers with confidence in its performance and reliability. LoRaWAN certification not only helps to ensure device interoperability within the vast LoRaWAN ecosystem while assuring customers of its security and operational efficiency. By choosing certified devices, customers can minimize integration challenges and reduce the risks associated with network deployment. Ultimately, certification adds value by fostering trust and promoting a seamless user experience.
Regulatory Support
The LoRa Alliance offers unparalleled regulatory support to its members, actively engaging with global regulatory bodies to shape favorable spectrum policies and industry standards. As a member, you’ll benefit from the alliance’s expertise in navigating complex global and local regulations, ensuring compliance and accelerating your market entry. Joining the LoRa Alliance empowers your business to influence regulatory decisions and stay ahead of evolving standards, giving you a critical edge in deploying LoRaWAN solutions worldwide.
NetIDs
NetID for unique identification of your networks and device addresses.
Roaming (a.k.a., network collaboration) among public, private, and community networks is an essential capability of LoRaWAN with unique features, which helps both coverage extension and coverage densification, reduce CAPEX, increase network capacity, and extend end-device battery life (see FAQ, webinar). Networks need to have a globally unique identifier (NetID) assigned by the LoRa Alliance in order to enable their devices to roam out to other networks (see current assignments).
VendorIDs
VendorID for unique identification of your products, ability to generate standard device-identifying QR codes (using own VendorID).
VendorID is assigned to each member, which is an essential part of the standard device-identification QR code (spec, webinar), and GW identification in the upcoming NS-GW interface spec.
