Water to Grow is an integrated farm water monitoring solution for farmers and growers — one place for water on your farm. Monitor and control essential farm infrastructure from your mobile phone on a common platform including Pasture and Crop Irrigation, Farm Water Infrastructure, Dairy Farm Effluent storage and application.
Water to Grow provides a complete solution for managing all water-related activity on your farm via devices connected to a LoRaWAN network. The hardware and software allow you to measure and control water and effluent usage, storage, and application to achieve the best outcomes with minimal cost and maintenance.
The package is delivered as a base pack to define the farm infrastructure and establish the LoRaWAN network, and layered on top are modules with the feature sets that are optional. Features can be mixed and matched to provide a customised solution for your farm.
Each option module consists of a software component that provides the functionality and a hardware section that integrates with the application. Our sensors also integrate with third-party hardware:
Pasture Growth Irrigation Control allows farmers to remotely control water use and program each sprinkler directly from mobiles devices or laptops and make changes anytime, anywhere. The software allows you to easily manage, create irrigation programs, and make changes to irrigation patterns as conditions change. It allows farmers to develop more efficient scheduling and reduce unnecessary watering.
Water Infrastructure Management allows farmers to easily track and view the storage and flow history graphs of dams, flow meters, pumps, tanks, valves, and networks on mobile or desktop. The system data can be used to ensure efficient use of water and more importantly, timely alerts will be sent if there are any abnormalities or potential leaks.
Effluent Management records and tracks fill levels of effluent ponds, tanks, bladders, and settling ponds. Effluent spread maps, effluent areas or exclusion zones can be viewed at-a-glance. Farmers will be notified if effluent storage levels are near limits, and if spreaders have finished runs or are stalled.
