Company Relation to LoRa Alliance™
The Minol-ZENNER Group is acting as a LoRaWAN Network Operator in Europe, an IoT Solution Provider, IoT Device manufacturer and also as IoT enabler and consultancy. MZG is one of the leading service providers and equipment manufacturers for consumption-based energy cost billing in the world. It combines two long-standing firms: Minol Messtechnik GmbH & Co. KG, in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, with its focus on energy management, and ZENNER International GmbH & Co. KG, in Saarbruecken, with its focus on energy engineering.Together, both companies form a family-run consortium that, with its measuring equipment and services, makes energy consumption transparent and guarantees an even-handed allocation of the costs. The Minol-ZENNER consortium links two areas of expertise and hence offers hardware as well as service and advice from a single source. This combination is only seldom found in the metering industry. To this end, the consortium engages around 3,500 employees worldwide. The meters and measuring equipment required for the billing are manufactured in the Minol-Zenner Group’s own factories. With subsidiaries and distributors in more than 40 countries and customers in more than 90 countries, the family-managed Group is well-connected and expanding in many new business areas.
