Rob Zagarella

Rob Zagarella is an innovator, entrepreneur and global IoT pioneer. From his participation at the early LoRa Alliance Members Meeting in 2015, to the Founder and CEO of NNNCo (backed by Blackrock and Stellex private equity firms), he’s at the forefront of global IoT innovation, leading the charge to connect industries through LoRaWAN at scale.

With a background in engineering R&D and patented smart grid technology, Rob is both a hands-on inventor and a strategic thinker. He’s spent his career bringing big ideas to life – whether building start-ups from the ground up, or shaping smart infrastructure at the corporate level with companies like GE, where he led Smart Grid initiatives across Asia Pacific.

Rob’s entrepreneurial spirit runs deep. He was Executive Vice President of Silicon Valley software venture Grid Net (backed by GE, Intel, and Cisco) and earlier launched Gridsense USA – transforming a smart grid control patent he authored into a commercially successful platform.

At NNNCo, Rob turned a bold vision – open, carrier-grade IoT connectivity – into Australia’s largest LoRaWAN network. Now with deployments in over 19 countries, NNNCo continues to scale globally under Enzen, with Rob driving growth through innovation, partnerships and purpose-built tech.
