PRESENTATION OF WORKSHOP #7
Low-power or low-range devices are part of our daily lives (Bluetooth headsets, remote controls, car keys, reversing radars, etc.) as well as those of professionals (security scanners, tank level radars, anti-theft devices, tracing of goods…).
The use of these devices is done without a license even if it follows a strict regulatory framework without any guarantee of protection being granted to them. However, these devices must not cause interference to other users!
During this workshop, ANFR and experts from the sector will present recent and future developments in the radio regulatory framework in Europe. This moment of exchange will focus in particular on ultra-wideband technologies. There is indeed an explosion of applications and demands for the liberalization of the regulatory framework, an effervescence which implies taking into account all the other users of the spectrum.
