The LoRa Alliance^® will be leading two education sessions during the ENTELEC event on August 10 and 11- one will focus on Utilities and a panel dedicated to digital transformation for Smart Industry.

On Tuesday, August 10, 10:30am – 11:30am Central US time in Room 370 A, LoRaWAN^® Ambassador Josh Cox, and CEO of member company Oxit, will be presenting “Intelligent Energy: Control and Condition Monitoring for a complete CGSS (Comprehensive Gas Safety System)”.

The LoRaWAN® standard is demonstrating a particularly strong and rapid growth in the metering business across the globe. Next to water and electricity metering, gas metering makes up a large segment with companies around the globe rolling out networks to better streamline gas infrastructure and monitoring. LoRaWAN technology applications go beyond the already successful metering use cases, expanding into control and condition monitoring for a complete CGSS (Comprehensive Gas Safety System) solution. To illustrate how LoRaWAN technology can be successful in these processes, LoRa Alliance member company Oxit, operating in North America, will present real-life metering use cases and discuss the developing path to Intelligent Energy through control and condition monitoring technology. On Wednesday, August 11, from 10:00am – 11:00am Central US time in Technology Theatre 1 Exhibit Hall E, the LoRa Alliance Industry Working Group will have a panel discussion focused on, “LoRaWAN®, a Digital Revolution for Oil & Gas”. The panel will be moderated by Daniel Quant, Chair of the Smart Industry WG, and also include panelists:
