A cost-effective, secure edge-computing solution embedded in your LoRaWAN® gateway
Kerlink’s Embedded Edge Computing runs directly inside your LoRaWAN® gateways, enabling secure, offline operation with no recurring cloud costs and no Internet requirement. Start with a single gateway and expand coverage by adding follower gateways on demand.
At the edge, LoRaWAN messages are processed in-gateway: compress data, trigger threshold-based alarms, compute local KPIs, buffer/store data, send downlink commands, and connect to external services.
Choose the embedded LNS option that fits your deployment:
Actility – ThingsPark All-in-One (TAO): Ready-to-use, Node-RED–based package with BACnet/Modbus connectors, device catalog & bulk device management; leader/follower topology and one-shot license for fast roll-outs with minimal integration.
Wi6Labs – µWiotys: SCADA/BMS-oriented “on-the-shelf” solution with Modbus/BACnet over IP, built-in payload decoding, local/no-cloud operation, HTTP REST or MQTT integration, data logging, one-shot license, and support for up to 200 devices per gateway.
Embedded ChirpStack: Open-source and free, ideal when you want full ownership of the embedded stack; leader/follower topology with Kerlink wiki guidelines (expect some integration effort for industrial-grade use).
