The Area 8c Gateway provides secure and reliable LoRaWAN® connectivity for scaled, enterprise-grade deployments in diverse indoor settings. Built by the team managing the largest LoRaWAN deployments globally, the Area 8c can process millions of packets per day and support up to 10,000 devices. The gateway is RF optimized for best-in-class propagation and supports packet caching to mitigate data loss in the event of backhaul outages.

- Simplified Installation: Simplified Installation: Supports PSU (Power Supply Unit), Power over Ethernet (PoE), or daisy chainable PoE and includes hardware for simple mounting on ceilings, walls, or any flat surface
- Enhanced Reliability: Supports Ethernet and Cellular backhaul with optional dual LTE SIM and automated network failover logic for enhanced reliability*
- Increased Flexibility: Includes 2.4GHz low energy enabling additional IoT use cases and increased scalability
- Improved Performance: Increased sensitivity and capacity enable gateways to handle more transmissions with greater reliability and efficiency
