Robustel R1320LGe is a compact industrial gateway for LoRaWAN deployments that need reliable packet forwarding, flexible backhaul and simple multi-site rollout. With 4G/LTE Cat-4, eSIM, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and optional PoE-PD, it connects sensor networks to external LNS platforms using LoRa Basics™ Station or UDP packet forwarding, while RCMS enables remote visibility and fleet management.
The R1320LGe is built for projects that need dependable LoRaWAN gateway connectivity without adding unnecessary software complexity at the edge. It is a compact, cost-effective packet-forwarding gateway for deployments where the LNS, cloud platform, BMS, SCADA system or application layer is already defined — and the priority is reliable sensor aggregation, flexible backhaul and repeatable rollout across many sites.
For system integrators, utilities, building teams and IoT service providers, the R1320LGe provides a practical way to extend LoRaWAN coverage into cabinets, risers, plant rooms, equipment rooms, remote sites and distributed infrastructure. 4G/LTE Cat-4, Ethernet and Wi-Fi backhaul options give installers flexibility when fixed connectivity is unavailable, difficult to access or not desirable for the application. Optional PoE-PD support helps simplify installation by carrying power and data over a single Ethernet connection.
The R1320LGe is designed for external LoRaWAN Network Server architectures. It forwards LoRaWAN sensor traffic to the customer’s preferred LNS or application environment using LoRa Basics™ Station or UDP packet forwarding, making it suitable for projects built around third-party platforms, managed network servers, existing cloud environments or partner-defined solution stacks. This makes it a strong fit for deployments where the gateway needs to be reliable and scalable, but where advanced local processing, embedded LNS or edge automation are handled elsewhere.
Physical SIM plus embedded eSIM support gives the R1320LGe additional flexibility for multi-site and multi-country deployments. eSIM capability can reduce SIM logistics, simplify carrier profile management and lower the risk of site revisits when connectivity requirements change. For cellular estates using roaming SIMs, Robustel Smart Roaming can help select the best available network at each site and improve reliability where signal quality varies between operators.
Remote management through RCMS gives operations teams visibility and control across deployed gateway fleets. Teams can monitor gateway health, review connectivity status, manage configuration, perform firmware updates and troubleshoot devices remotely without needing routine physical access to the site. This is especially valuable when gateways are installed across distributed buildings, cabinets, utilities infrastructure or hard-to-reach locations.
